We are the GACS LIONS ! Our colors are blue and gold.

This winter we offer:

We are selling t-shirts with the new GACS logo. Cost $10 each. Shirts are available at most games and other homeschool events. Email John Smith if you would like to purchase a shirt at another time.  smithmom9800@yahoo.com

Cookbooks are available. Proceeds will benefit the homeschool sports program which is open to all homeschool students ages 12-18.These personalized cookbooks make great gifts at only $10 each.

This is how it works.
1. Send a note or email to all your friends and family telling them that you are involved with Golden Acres Sports Program and would love them to help support the program.
2. Send the website- www.currentfun.com
Click on Start Shopping at the bottom right of the page.
As they shop, they can add things to their cart.
3. When they go to checkout, have them go to GEORGIA and then GOLDEN ACRES SPORTS
4. This is an ongoing fundraiser, so they can order throughout the year. All products will be delivered to their door. Current gives us a portion of everything sold.

It is important that we keep our fundraisers going-we use this money to pay for ICSGA fees, insurance, facilities, referees, equipment and our end of the season banquet. Without fundraising, we will not have the money to continue our program.

Homeschool Sports are now being coordinated through a brand new organization call Georgia and Alabama Christian Sports.  Homeschool dad, John Smith, will be the contact person for this program. If you would like to become involved with homeschool athletics, please contact him at smithmom9800@yahoo.com
 
Why the change?
Many people are confused by the affiliation with an Alabama church school and how enrollment has been done. Often students don't event pursue athletics thru Golden Acres because they don't need a church school. By separating the sports and the "cover school" we hope to appeal to a broader spectrum of homeschooling students.
 
Please continue to support homeschool sports in our area. They will still be the Lions and their colors will remain BLUE and GOLD.

Enrollment

 

 

 
Cost
Enrollment in athletics is $70 per student. Enrollment allows students to participate in sports throughout the school year.  Payment plans are available for families with more than one participating student. Additional costs for uniforms and equipment will vary and are in addition to the enrollment fee. 
 
All fees must be paid before the student may participate in games.
 
Liability
All players must assume full liability for any injury. Liability waivers must be signed by both parents for participation. We have waivers for GACS and the ICSGA which must be on file before play may begin.
